 Meg established Gem Hair in 2013 with the goal of creating a warm, welcoming salon where clients feel at home and stylists love to work. Her passion for hair began at a young age, and she couldn't wait to start her career the moment she finished school. Now, with almost 20 years of industry experience, Meg remains just as enthusiastic and dedicated as ever. Her love for what she does shines through in every client interaction—and it’s part of what makes 

Gem Hair such a special place. 

 With over 25 years of industry experience, Jo’s passion for hair began at a young age and has only grown stronger. Originally from New Zealand, she has called Brisbane home for more than 20 years. Jo is highly skilled in all areas of hairdressing, but her true loves are colouring and cutting. Her friendly, down-to-earth personality, combined with her expert skills, ensures every client not only looks amazing—but feels great too. Jo takes the time to truly understand her clients’ needs, creating looks that are stylish, flattering, and easy to maintain between visits. 

 Zoe has a genuine passion for hair and the hairdressing industry. Her sweet, gentle nature—combined with her impressive skills—ensures every client leaves the salon not only feeling amazing but looking fabulous too. While Zoe excels in all areas of hairdressing, balayage, colour work, and styling are where she truly shines. Her creativity, precision, and dedication to her craft make her a valued and trusted part of the Gem Hair team. 

 After visiting Brisbane on holiday, Nat was drawn in by the city’s friendly vibe and laid-back lifestyle, eventually making Jindalee her home. With years of hairdressing experience under her belt, Nat specialises in blondes, balayage, precision cuts, and formal hairstyling. Her bright, bubbly personality combined with expert knowledge means every client leaves her chair looking and feeling amazing. 

  After always dreaming of becoming a hairdresser, Sarah finally took the leap and joined the industry as a mature-age apprentice. Now, having mastered her craft, she has discovered her passion lies in creating beautiful blondes with exquisite foil work, as well as precision cutting. Sarah loves helping her clients feel relaxed and cared for, making every visit an opportunity to sit back, unwind and enjoy some well-deserved time for themselves.
